To zoom into a part, I would recommend right-clicking on it and opening it
in a new window, but be prepared to wait, since the zoomed part is four
times the size seen here. Descriptions of the pictures can be found at the
bottom
of this page.
Leftmost part of front side
The top half is the cover with Star Convoy above the "Return of Convoy" phrase.
Below this is a battle scene from the series, featuring the Cybertrons.
Sky Garry flies down and transforms over Grandus, the hulking giant base
Transformer. On the ground are several white Micromaster trailers, some
of which are launching Micromasters such as Trip-Up and Greaser. Other
Micromasters are on Grandus or in the air.
Rest of front side
The names are as follows, corresponding to their identification numbers:
Four big Transformers:
- C-360 Sky Garry:
He comes with a Micromaster named Shotbomber (a double-missile tank)
and a Micro Trailer. Sky Garry is the transport carrier for the Micromasters
and can carry up to three Micro Trailers at once. He can also transform
into a tower.
- C-370 Sixliner:
The robots in the first column from top to bottom are
Spark, Alan, and Joe. The ones in the second column to the right from
top to bottom are Leaf, Diego (or Dego), and Night. All six can join together to form
the robot in the center, Sixliner, whom they all regard as their true self
instead of their individual forms.
- C-371 Grandus:
He comes with a Micromaster named Spinner (a police car) and a Micro Trailer.
Grandus can become a rolling air base who can hook up with Star Convoy.
- C-372 Star Convoy:
He comes with a Micromaster Hot Rodimus and a Micro Trailer.
Only sketches of him are shown in this catalog. A later Battlestars
catalog has pictures of the actual figure, though of a prototype.
Nine Micromaster teams:
- C-331 Rescue Patrol Team:
Fire (Red Hot), Boater (Seawatch), Holi (Stakeout), Pibo (Fixit)
Holi is the black police car TF who also appeared in the Victory series

Left half of back side
This has a story, which contains some scenes which might have been drawings for
the Battlestars series' original story, but were never in it.
Picture 1: A partly transparent Unicron in space faces down the soaring
Sky Patrol Team (Air Patrol) and the two floating Micromasters Rabbicrater
(recolored Skystalker's Micromaster) and Moon Raider.
Picture 2: Sky Garry is in his transport mode in front.
Three Micro Trailers are attached in the middle, with Big Hauler in the leftmost
one and Big Daddy rolling into the middle Micro Trailer. Behind Sky Garry on
the left is Grandus in his base mode, while Dai Atlas from the preceding Zone
series is on the right directing operations.
Picture 3: Grandus and Sky Garry come upon a coffin containing an earlier
Cybertron leader, Convoy (Optimus Prime).
Picture 4: Brought back to base by Grandus and Sky Garry, Convoy is brought
back to life.
Picture 5: In his new form as Star Convoy, he joins Grandus and Sky Garry
against Unicron.
Right half of back side
A drawing of Star Convoy is at the top for a contest in which you are supposed
to fill in the circles with the correct Japanese characters in his name.

Below him is an ad for a Transformers: The Movie videotape with screen shots.
To the right are four Transformers available by mail-order. From left to
right are the three Destron Insecticons Shrapnel, Kickback, and Bombshell,
and the Decepticon Micromaster shuttle and base, Skystalker. Below them
is the mail-order form with the price and robot points needed for each one.
